High School Office Administrative Assistant

High School

We are seeking a task-oriented individual who can provide a pleasant and welcoming presence as a "first face" in the High School Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist students, staff, and parents in making use of the MyGAC portal
  • Coordinate sensitive information and record keeping
  • Provide information about student life to faculty/staff, students, and parents
  • Participate in, coordinate, and conduct activities that contribute to the effective operation of the High School Office and school
  • Collaborate with the entire High School office to ensure processes and procedures are in alignment with other activities in the High School
  • Oversee admissions data for High School applicants
  • Support administrators in day-to-day tasks
  • Manage financial records for High School accounts
  • Communicate and highlight High School news to Communications staff
  • Assist administration in hosting Admissions or Open House events
  • Prepare and disseminate materials regarding events taking place in the High School
  • Assist students, families, and faculty in finding "go-to" resources on campus

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Office experience preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a school environment that has season of fast paced activity and seasons of mellow planning

  • Ability to communicate with skill and discernment across verbal (telephone or in-person) or written (email) mediums
  • Willingness to learn the details of the GAC routines and proactively improve systems and organization
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues including administrators, faculty, and staff
  • Ability to work with Communications to highlight and promote High School activities
