Ethos is an innovative online Christian school dedicated to providing high-quality, flexible online courses tailored to students' individual needs.  Our primary products include a wide range of online courses and an AI-based personal tutor, TrekAI.  We are committed to excellence and innovation in education and leveraging technology to empower students and teachers, all from a Christian foundation.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Ethos.  The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing inbound leads, handling sales calls, and nurturing leads within our CRM system (HubSpot).  This role requires a highly-relational, proactive, and organized individual with a passion for sales, technology, and education.

This is a fulltime, exempt role who will work both remotely and on campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, online meeting tools, email, and chat, providing information about Ethos's programs and services.
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective school leaders, guiding them through the enrollment process and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Manage leads within HubSpot, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up to move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Managing and building deal pipelines, automations, and workflows in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement lead generation campaigns to drive inbound inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective schools, building rapport and trust throughout the enrollment process.
  • Track sales activities and maintain detailed records in HubSpot, including notes from sales calls, follow-up tasks, and conversion rates.
  • Stay informed about Ethos's course offerings, pricing, and promotional offers to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective schools and individuals.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to streamline the enrollment process and ensure a seamless experience for onboarding schools.
  • Other duties and responsibilites as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Alignment with Ethos Christian mission and our passion for innovation in education.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience, preferably in the education or EdTech industry.
  • Or, an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using English.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospective school leaders.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and proficiency in managing leads and pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate for conferences, client meetings, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods at a desk, sometimes while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to read written or electronic documents with or without correction.
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Other:

  • Successful background check, reference checking, and drug screening clearance.
